UCSF Is First Hospital in California with a Musician in Residencenew

The position was made possible by a grant from the nonprofit Rock Against Cancer, which is covering Turow's salary at the hospital plus that of seven similar performers around the country.
Families Blame Dallas' VA Hospital for Two Vets' Suicidesnew
They're putting the troubled institution back in the spotlight. In 2005, the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs ranked the hospital the worst VA facility in the country. Dallas VA spokesperson Susan Poff says the hospital has cleaned up its act since then, but family members of both men remain unconvinced.
