Matthew Spaur, editor, and owner of The Local
Planet
Weekly, holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative
Writing with emphasis in
fiction, non-fiction, and editing from Eastern
Washington University. Prior to
graduate school, he worked as senior technical
writer, program manager, and
writing manager for Microsoft Corporation,
specializing in spreadsheets.
Matthew earned his B.A. from Whitman College of
Walla Walla in 1985. He's
placed non-fiction, fiction, and poetry in various
publications around the
country.
