Judges May Soon Be Taking Sides in Arkansas

The old system restricting the speech and actions of judges and judicial candidates is crashing, as federal and state courts are ruling that these restrictions on judicial speech violate the First Amendment. Newer, more free-wheeling rules should make for more interesting politics, but they may make for worse law.
