A series of changes in top management at several AAN-member papers has caused a reshuffling of the AAN board of directors.

Russ Martineau, who was board president, and Sonja Snyder, an at-large member, have resigned after being let go by Willamette Week and Eugene Weekly, respectively.

As set forth in the association's bylaws, vice-president Bill Towler, publisher of City Newspaper in Rochester, N.Y., has assumed the office of president. Jane Levine, publisher of Chicago Reader, an at-large member, has been appointed vice president.
