Baltimore City Paper art director Joe MacLeod has been named to The Awl's prestigious 20 People To Follow On Twitter list, which some observers have likened to People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People.

And by "some observers," we mean "no one."

"Every Twitter feed needs one bouncy loon," says Choire Sicha in a statement that accurately describes our rationale for following @Choire. "It'll overwhelm you sometimes. But just ride it out!"
