Pre1 Software and Topaz Design Merger Leads to New Product Launch

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PORTLAND, OR - February 12, 2007 - Two long-time Associate Members of the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies announced the results of their merger which took place nearly nine months ago. Jim Abeles, CEO of Pre1 Software and Katherine Topaz, Principal of Topaz Design, proudly unveiled Odessa Topaz Abeles, at 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 8th. Odessa weighs four pounds, two ounces and measures 16.25 inches.

Topaz said, "The technological resources of Pre1 and new product design by Topaz Design have produced something pretty incredible."

Added Abeles, "These things can be tricky - it's like a mating dance to come together and bring something like this to life."

They'll be demonstrating the new product at this year's convention in Portland.
