Pacific Northwest Inlander Marks Two Milestones
The Inlander this week marks its 20th anniversary with a commemorative 104-page issue, looking back at its founding, its growth and its position as the top media in the region, with the No. 1 market penetration of any urban weekly in America.

“I believe our success reflects the vitality of our city and region,” says founder and publisher Ted S. McGregor Jr. “Everyone can take credit for our thriving newspaper. We owe great thanks to our staff — past and present — along with our readers and our advertisers.”

The paper is also launching a new website this week with streamlined design, more ways to share content and a platform that delivers everything to your phone, tablet and desktop. The site was developed by Foundation and features an intuitive structure, an easy-to-use back end and horizontal-swipe navigation on tablets.

“You dream it, and Foundation will build it,” says editor Jacob H. Fries. “We’ve been impressed with Foundation’s team — Carla, Jason, Ian, Gontran and others — who have delivered a powerful website. Not to brag, but we think it’s one of the more beautiful news sites out there.”
