Overstood Release a Debut

Charleston City Paper | April 25, 2007
Overstood, comprised of three members of the Family Thompson, have stayed consistently busy on the local bar scene, jammin' on strummy, melodic original songs and clever reworkings of reggae and rock classics.

Lead guitarist Charlie Thompson (ex-Flyin' Blind, The Parrots) is the dad. Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Cortie Thompson and bassist/vocalist Matty Thompson are the sons. They celebrated the release of a self-produced, self-titled album this month at O'Malleys in downtown Charleston.

Cortie and Matt play as a duo every Thursday at Henry's on the Market. CDs will be available locally at Millennium, Monster, Cat's, and at live shows. Check www.overstood.net for more.
