Heartache is as Ageless as Hard-Ons

Spin a globe and pick any spot to find, as sure as the sun shines, a place where teen boys think about sex. The dingy P7 ghetto of Romania is no different, and in this competition film it's where ballsy 13-year-old Andrei is fired to red-hot by his fascination with the prostitutes in the neighborhood's red-light district and particularly by the beautiful Marilena. Both of them are poor and ambitious in their right, and the hard-luck match-up is not made in heaven. Still, no matter the street ethos, we can't help but feel the pain of the explosion of his innocence, as heartache is as ageless as hard-ons.
