Former San Antonio Current Editor Launches Subscription News Site
Former San Antonio Current editor Elaine Wolff has launched a subscription news website -- Plaza De Armas -- with former San Antonio Express-News political reporter Greg Jefferson.

A subscription to the site, which is focused on San Antonio government and politics, costs $5.99 a month or $60 annually:
Wolff said there's opportunity in the nation's seventh-largest city for more reporting. The site, she said, will be engaging for a general audience and offer more in-depth information in its focal points.

“I think there is room for more coverage, and I believe competition is good for everybody,” she said.
Wolff announced her departure from the Current last August.
