Chinese Censorship Delays Book by Seattle Weekly Marijuana Columnist
The release of a book written by Seattle Weekly "Toke Signals" columnist Steve Elliott has been delayed after the Chinese government discovered its content and halted production.

The book, The Little Black Book of Marijuana: The Essential Guide to the World of Cannabis, was supposed to be available earlier this month.

The pages were finished in Hong Kong and then sent to mainland China for binding, but the government refused to allow it, Elliott told the paper.

Instead, the book will be bound in Hong Kong, but it will take a while since the company's production schedule is backlogged.

The book is available, however, for digital download.
