We have seen the future of coal mining in Svalbard and, to paraphrase a certain idiot dominating politics in the U.S., there’s going to be so much winning we’re going to get tired of it now that North Korea has signed the Svalbard Treaty.

As climate change takes hold, it turns out the warming waters just north of Svalbard are home to a lush UFO paradise. Alas, in Svalbard itself we're being denied the chance to see David Bowie take his place among the stars.
