Nashville Scene Editor Jim Ridley Dies at 50
Jim Ridley — the editor, heart and soul of the Nashville Scene, a film critic with few peers, and one of the most beloved and respected journalists the city has known — died today. He had collapsed after suffering a cardiac event in the Scene offices on March 28, and never regained consciousness. He was 50 years old.
