Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism Announces Job Fair
Where: Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, New York City

When: Sat., April 14, 2007, 8:30 am - 5 pm

Details: Do you have staff writing and editing jobs? Are you still looking for summer interns? Will you be hiring later this year? If you answered "yes" to any of the above, please join the dozens of recruiters and editors from across the country who have already signed up to attend Columbia Journalism School's annual job fair.

Our 300 graduate students are a diverse, vibrant group with a wide range of language skills, life experience and journalistic interests, with many specializing in magazine and alt-weekly-style long-form narrative writing. Many of them are eager to step into alt-weekly jobs in markets of every size. This year, we also more than doubled the number of students who are trained to use audio, video, and other multimedia journalism skills to meet the online demands of today's magazine and alt-weekly publishers.

Among the students you'll also meet will be fellows in our specialized coverage programs and the inaugural class in the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism.

For details, contact Gina Boubion, career services coordinator, at gb2219 (at) columbia.edu, or (212)854-2980, or go to www.jrn.columbia.edu/careers and follow the prompts to register.

We hope to see you there!
