Bruce Brugmann Honored By Columbia School of Journalism
Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism has announced the winners of its annual Alumni Awards, and San Francisco Bay Guardian founder/publisher/editor Bruce Brugmann was among the group of four honorees.

Referring to the Bay Guardian as a "feisty weekly," the announcement says that Brugmann, "has demonstrated that with professional and personal resolve and courage, that there is still room, and a role, for the little guy."

The award ceremony will take place on April 8, 2011, in New York.
