The Pants Begin to Fray in This Sisterhood Sequelnew

'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2': This One's for the Girlsnew

The pants don't make much of a showing in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, but no matter. They're nothing more than a gimmick to draw us into the lives of our four well-drawn characters, and despite my misgivings I was gleefully, guiltily glad to see them all again.

Landscaping the Romantic Comedynew
Think Bridget Jones' lovelorn but marriage-obsessed single woman, only make her a neat-freak, not a basket case, and a comely African-American, not a plumpish, pasty Brit in this genre-tweaking romantic comedy.

Almost Dreamlikenew
Populated with a congregation of one-dimensional characters and an amazingly predictable plot, this film fails to shed new light on the complexities of interracial romance.
