Plan To Withdraw Water From a Fla. River Sucks. Literally.

The state agency charged with managing Northeast Florida's water supply has given its blessing to siphon off 262 million gallons daily from the St. Johns River and its tributaries, a plan that river advocates say will be nothing short of catostrophic.
