2004 AAN Annual Convention Coverage Is Online
Members Have Easy Access to Archived Newsletter Content

At this year's convention in San Antonio, a team of five contributing reporters, overseen by AAN editor Ruth Hammond, collaborated on a daily newsletter to provide an unprecedented amount of coverage for AAN members.
The newsletter's reporters were Joy Howard, Michael L. Jones and Jared Jacang Maher, all former fellows of the Academy for Alternative Journalism; Wells Dunbar, a production intern at the Austin Chronicle; and Nora Ankrum, a Chronicle proofreader. Kate Messer, a senior editor at the Chronicle, was the newsletter's assistant editor.
