Haven't we seen this movie a million times before? An Irish family struggles in South Boston. The dad's a bully, the mom's the bedrock, the older brother's bad, the older sister gets knocked up and the little brother finds salvation through -- wait for it -- baseball. Engaging and well-crafted, but unoriginal.
