The Long Island Press announced recently the promotion of reporter
Christopher Twarowski to editor-in-chief.
Twarowski, the Press’ senior reporter/editor of investigations, succeeds Michael Patrick Nelson, who departed the paper in May. He has held several positions since he joined the paper—then
New Island Ear—in 2002.
In a
message to Press readers, publisher Jed Morey said Twarowski is “the perfect person to captain our ship and lead us into the future.”
