L.A. Weekly Picks Up Several National Entertainment Journalism Awards Nominations
Last week, L.A. Weekly picked up 14 nominations for the L.A. Press Club’s annual entertainment journalism awards, the most of any publication.

The paper is nominated for best entertainment publication of the year.

Writers Steven Leigh Morris and Karina Longworth are both contenders for critic of the year, and Morris is also in the running for entertainment journalist of the year.

Gendy Alimurung, Jonathan Gold, and Gustavo Turner also have stories nominated for awards.

L.A. Weekly also received nominations for its online Coachella coverage and its web presence.
