L.A. CityBeat Deputy Editor Authors Book on 'Stoner Utopia'

Dean Kuipers' third book, Burning Rainbow Farm: How a Stoner Utopia Went Up in Smoke, tells the story of marijuana activists Tom Crosslin and Rolland Rohm, who were shot and killed during a standoff with the FBI. "There's this incredible arc from the way Rainbow Farm started out to how it ended,” Kuipers tells the Niles Daily Star. The book hits stores today.
