Colorado Springs Independent Editor Kirk Woundy to Step Down
Kirk Woundy is stepping down as editor-in-chief of the Colorado Springs Independent:
Woundy has occupied the position since September 2012, and plans to continue doing so until a new editor is identified. He served as managing editor from 2006 to 2012, and has been part of the staff since 2005.

Woundy plans to start a personal history business, focused on documenting people's life stories.
