New Times, Village Voice Merger Closes

The merger of New Times Media, LLC and Village Voice Media, LLC was completed today, combining the nation's two leading alternative media companies. The new company is called Village Voice Media and will publish free weekly newspapers and Web sites in seventeen of the nation’s largest markets.
