AAN's Popular Annual Writers Workshop Gets a Face Lift in 2010

After many successful years at the Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Ill, AAN's
annual Writers Workshop is relocating to Las Vegas, Nev., for a two-day intensive workshop Oct. 29-30.
The workshop is produced by AAN's Editorial Committee. While content and venue details are still in the works, the programming will continue to emphasize practical training, lively discussions and one-on-one critiques.
"The Editorial Committee has always believed the writers workshop is one of the most important events AAN produces," AAN Editorial Chair Julia Goldberg says. "It's nitty gritty, it's really geared at reporters, culture writers, interns, even students (but also enjoyable and invigorating for editors), and it's financially practical for just about everyone."
