Village Voice Media Partners With Ticketing, Ad Management Services

This week Village Voice Media
announced that TicketFly will be its exclusive event ticketing provider:
Whether it's a music showcase in New York City, a dining event in Los Angeles, or a beer festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Ticketfly will streamline the process by allowing users to buy tickets from wherever they are--from their phone, from their desktop, from their mobile device, even entirely through Facebook.
Separately, VVM has partnered with
Lineup Systems, a U.K.-based ad management company.
A spokesperson for Lineup Systems says the company "will provide integrated multi-channel ad booking" across all of Village Voice Media's properties.
"We are delighted to partner with Lineup Systems to implement AdPoint and AdMount for display, classified and online advertising, accounts receivable, CRM and pagination," said VVM director of business systems Brian King in a press release. "A real incentive for us was Lineup Systems' integrated online environment, which connects all these applications though a centralized database, so users can access common customer data, order information and strategic reporting through a web browser to create a seamless workflow."
