Three Alt-Weekly Writers Are Livingston Finalists
Three alt-weekly writers have been named as finalists for the 2010 Livingston Awards for Young Journalists, with the winners to be announced on June 7 in New York.

Among the finalists are Sarah Fenske for her work that appeared in Phoenix New Times (she's now the managing editor of Riverfront Times), former Riverfront Times writer Kristen Hinman, and SF Weekly staff writer Peter Jamison.

The Livingston Awards are given to journalists under the age of 35 and come with a $10,000 prize.
