The Latest Way to Recycle an Alt-Weekly? Make it a Planting Pot!
Seven Days this week released its Green Issue, the cover of which features potted plants wrapped in old issues of the Burlington alt-weekly. And the paper also includes a handy step-by-step guide on how to do the same with your old newspapers.

It's a pretty easy process, requiring only newspaper, a bottle, scissors, soil and seeds. And unlike traditional planting pots, the newspaper version will break down naturally in the soil once you put the plants into the ground.
