Seattle Weekly, SF Weekly, Village Voice Are SPD Awards Finalists

Three AAN publications have been announced as finalists in the Society of Publication Designers annual awards.

Seattle Weekly's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" repeal cover is a finalist in the Cover Photo category, SF Weekly is a Cover Illustration finalist for Brian Stauffer's "Worlds Apart," and the Village Voice is a finalist in the Sequential Comic category with comics by Ward Sutton.

The competition in those categories includes the likes of the New York Times, O Magazine, Billboard and GQ.

SPD will announce Gold and Silver Medal winners in each category at an awards gala in New York on May 13.
