City Pages (Twin Cities) staff writer Andy Mannix is the winner of GLAAD's 2012 award for Outstanding Newspaper Article.

His profile of Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe, "Game Changer," beat out competing articles from the Boston Globe, the New York Times, the Long Beach Press-Telegram, and the Windy City Times.
