AAN-Commissioned 'Tax Myths' Piece Crashes Willamette Week's Website
Traffic to David Cay Johnston's piece on tax myths, which ran in 40 alt-weeklies last week, caused Willamette Week's website to crash for about three hours Monday.

Jim Romenesko has the memo from WW editor Mark Zusman:

Staff,

As you know, our web site crashed today for about 3 hours. We are now back up and it appears that the culprit is the David Cay Johnston story on "9 Things The Rich Don't Want You to Know about Taxes." For a period of time, we were getting 12,000 page views request per minute!
