2002 Nieman Conference on Narrative Journalism

Errol Morris, Molly Ivins, Malcolm Gladwell, Peter Turnley, Rick Bragg, Roy Peter Clark, The Kitchen Sisters, E. O. Wilson and more than a dozen other acclaimed storytellers will cover the nuts-and-bolts of reporting, writing, and editing narrative, and focus on two themes - carrying narrative beyond mawkishness to illuminate complex institutional and societal stories; and, integrating editors into the narrative process.
